Chinatown part II

Charles and I have a tradition of collecting Christmas ornaments when we travel.  We enjoy this for several reasons such as that it’s a fun thing to hunt for (or get creative with ….like key chains) and a fun way to buy something from that place that doesn’t just sit on a shelf year round.  Each December we have the best time unwrapping them and putting them on the tree as we are able to relive each trip.  Being in Singapore is no exception and we realized we HAVE to get a Chinese New Year ornament, or something that can hang on a tree, that involves year of the Tiger.  As the clock is ticking down to New Years, and CNY decor really isn’t sold after CNY eve, we headed to China town!
Below are more photos of our adventure and the ornament we located after much searching….really hard to find a good looking tiger that is Christmas tree worthy.
